one of the many local neo-futurist keyboard bands around these days, 1999 was the first, and, just perhaps, the best. Under the ever-expanding control of megalomaniac A.D.MacHine, this band utilises only small plastic portable keyboards from the early eighties and out-dated guitar delay pedals, and recreates the future of the past, the future that may never really be; the future as depicted by movies of the fifties, music of the seventies, and the technicolour dream of the Jetsons. 1999 have been featured on the soundtrack to The PhanDom Menace, a documentary about the tragic events of the release of Star Wars: Episode One, and what it meant to the Skywalking Star Wars fan club.
